Event Content
This session hosted by the Biotech Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC) at the University of Salford will explore how collaborative partnerships are pushing innovation across the biotech and life sciences sectors. As we mark 50 years of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) – with Salford having proudly delivered the UK’s very first – this event will showcase how BRIC continues to lead the way in industry engagement. From pioneering biotech research to fermentation-led innovation at Salford’s own brewery, attendees will gain insights into how BRIC works with businesses through KTPs, consultancy, and joint ventures to turn academic expertise into commercial impact.
The session will highlight real-world applications and offer a unique opportunity for biotech and life science SMEs, founders, and innovation leads to learn how partnering with Salford can accelerate growth, unlock new technologies, and shape the future of health and sustainability.gy, computing, engineering, and health-tech sectors.
