Overview:
The Government has recently introduced a wide ranging programme of Apprenticeship reforms that can benefit your business both financially and by supporting you to access the people, skills and knowledge that your company needs to succeed. The new programme could cover 90 to 100% of the training costs for an SME and up to post graduate level training.
The reforms have been designed to ensure that employers have greater control over the funding and delivery of training and that the Apprenticeship programme is more relevant and supports business to remain competitive.
The Post-Business Breakfast Network presentation will cover the following themes:
- What are the changes – what has changed and why you should become involved?
- Dispelling the myths – what can now be supported through the Apprenticeship programme
- How you can use the Apprenticeship programme to address your wider skills needs
- Financial incentives – for recruiting new employees and starting existing employees on an Apprenticeship programme
