An open forum to discuss:
Working collaboratively to develop a robust supply chain for the LCR Low Carbon industry.
The Liverpool City Region is in a fortunate logistical position to take advantage of the rising demand for renewable and low carbon energy sources, having three main growth opportunities within this sector: Tidal power, Hydrogen storage and Offshore Wind. Naturally, as our energy production changes this will affect other sectors such as manufacturing and tech, who are continually pioneering new products to capture and store this energy.
For this to happen successfully we need to collaborate. Conversations must happen between each tier in the Low Carbon supply chain to manage expectations and to discuss new processes for energy production. LCR Future Energy aims to be at the forefront of this collaboration, spearheading a local energy hub.
This event will discuss what these changes mean for our Low Carbon supply chain within LCR and how can we help the SMEs in our region prepare for these opportunities.
