About this event
The use of satellite data by digital businesses to create new products and services for sectors such as tourism, healthcare, logistics, and FinTech (to name a few) is a significant driver of the UK’s £16.4bn space economy.
As part of the UK Space Agency’s commitment to develop a North West Space Cluster, STFC and ESA Business Applications will deliver an introduction to satellite applications for innovative digital businesses in the region, along with presentations from companies already working with satellite data, as well as briefs on a variety of funding mechanisms from across ESA Space Solutions, and the Satellite Applications Catapult.
The Science Technology and Facilities Council (STFC) helps to deliver on the UK Space Agency’s commitment to growing the Space industry across all regions of the UK.
