Overview:
The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are coming into force in May 2018 affecting how organisations store and use data on EU individuals.
Business and innovation professionals across all sectors will need to re-evaluate the tools they use to target customers, as protection power shifts towards message recipients. With opt-out permission no longer an option, many databases will be rendered useless and secure storage of the information within each will need to be assured.
This briefing will look at what steps need to be taken to be fully compliant and ensure best practice. It will focus on practical advice rather than scaremongering, or defining the new regulations.
