For our BBN event this month we are GOING GREEN!
March marks the start of National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and to recognise this we are asking everyone joining the event to wear something green. This might be a green top, trousers, skirt, hat, tie, glasses or shoes!!! The choice is yours! and then make a donation to our local charity Stick ‘n’ Step
By going green and donating to the charity you’re helping them to continue their vital work, providing life-changing support to the children and young adults with Cerebral Palsy.
To make a donation of any amount visit our Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sci-tech-daresbury-stick-n-step-charity
To make a £5.00 donation via TEXT message: Text SCITECH 5 to 70085 to donate. Texts cost £5.00 plus one standard rate message and you’ll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you’d like to make a donation but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text SCITECHNOINFO to 70085.
Due to Covid-19 we now moved the Sci-Tech Daresbury Business Breakfast Network (BBN) to an ON-LINE webinar event.
We appreciate that at this time it is more important than ever for our network to be connected to the right advice, information and expertise on what funding and support is available to high-tech companies, and how to maximise business opportunities during this difficult time
The event is an opportunity to connect with the North’s most dynamic hi-tech entrepreneurs, corporates, universities, support organisations and funding and professional communities.
Once a month, a group of over 100 such individuals meet to start their Friday with a time of high-value networking. No heavy speeches, no presentations, just relaxed, informal but high-intensity networking and establishment of new business connections.
In our on-line webinar event we will only be showcasing the “elevator pitch” section of our normal BBN event, enabling you to hear from a range of experts, business support programmes, funders & investors through 60-second pitches and back-up information through the chatline.
The webinar will kick off at 9.00 am and will finish approximately 10.00 am. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions to those who are pitching.
Please note that all members need to book their places for each event, this is not an automated facility.
Once you have registered for the webinar you will receive further information including the link to join Microsoft Teams approximately 24 hours before the event starts.
